My way of modeling 3D Anime Character

Hi to all, this is my first post so I'd like to thank anybody who's reading this blog.
Recently I've completed a method I've come up with to model faces that looks like (or better tries to look like :D) the typical japanese-final fantasy-esque-anime character.
My method is based on box modeling and it doesn't require any blueprint image, instead it uses the grid as a "geometrical" reference just like mangaka use the classic circle divided in 4 sections (look at the following if you don't know what I mean).





















First of all I start to model a basic shape starting from a cube:




















Then I start to model using the grid as a reference.
This is the final result:
